FYRK is a Fenno-Swedish hip-hop supergroup consisting of Finska “Snubben”, Tom Alfons, Walt Miguel, JAG, and DJ Rullbiza.
The collective formed in 2022 following the “FYRK! En bättre rap tour,” a project originally suggested by Radio X3M host Kjell from Hell. What began as a temporary touring collaboration evolved into a permanent band after the members discovered a shared creative chemistry during the tour.
In April 2025, the group released their debut album, LAMA. Recorded during intensive sessions in Jakobstad, the album is a landmark for Swedish-language rap in Finland. The title plays on the Finnish word for “recession” and the animal “llama,” serving as a self-ironic nod to stereotypes about the wealthy Swedish-speaking minority.
Avoiding “humor rap” tropes, FYRK treats the Swedish language as a serious tool for social commentary and identity. Their debut album features a wide range of collaborators from across the scene, proving that Swedish-language rap music in Finland is a force to be reckoned with.
Get money. Look good. Hurri-Rap forever!
